Beta Wolves are two wolves, one male, one female, and the two are always mates. They are second in command to the North Wolves, and carry the North Wolves' orders out to the pack.

When a Beta wolf dies, the most experienced Delta Wolf of the same gender will take the dead Beta's place. The Delta wolf is forced to mate the remaining Beta wolf.
